The TackleDisInfo Training Package consists of four educational modules designed to support VET educators and trainers in strengthening digital literacy, critical thinking and resilience against disinformation. The modules provide a practical learning pathway from understanding disinformation to recognising manipulation, verifying information and applying these skills in different vocational contexts.
Module 1: Understanding Digital Literacy and Disinformation
An introduction to digital literacy and the different forms of misleading information, including misinformation, disinformation and malinformation, and how they spread online.
Module 2: Critical Thinking and Emotional Awareness
Explores how critical thinking, emotional responses and cognitive biases influence the way people interpret and share information online.
Module 3: Practical Tools to Identify and Respond to Disinformation
Introduces practical verification methods and fact-checking tools that educators and learners can use to assess suspicious online information.
Module 4: Sector-Specific Challenges and Tailored Strategies
Examines how disinformation affects different vocational sectors and provides practical activities and strategies that can be adapted to specific VET contexts.
